To register a port on ICEGATE, you can:
- Log in to the ICEGATE website: www.icegate.gov.in
- Click the registration link on the home page or follow the link services → register
- Fill out the registration form
- Submit the form along with the required documents
AD code registration can be done online on the ICEGATE portal for each port separately. It is mandatory to register AD code on the port where you intend to import goods.
Registration of AD Code can be done by all importers or exporters holding a current account in foreign exchange-authorized banks. It can be done online via the ICEGATE portal or offline with the help of a custom broker.
On successful submission of an application, processing of the application would be completed in 3-4 working days. Once the application is approved, ICEGATE User ID and Password would be sent on the registered e-mail ID.
